The Province of British Columbia has initiated a review of the Private Managed Forest Land Program. The announcement to review the Private Managed Forest Land Program was made earlier this year as part of the Province’s Coast Forest Sector Revitalization Initiative.
As part of the review, the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development has created a public engagement website to collect feedback on the program and its current legislation, the Private Managed Forest Land Act, from a variety of stakeholders around the Province. The engagement website includes background materials on the program, and an online survey.
As an owner of a managed forest in British Columbia we encourage you to participate in the public engagement process by completing the online survey. The survey is open until July 22, 2019, 4:00 pm.
